What is the Mountlake Terrace Business Association?

Duties:

  • • Listen to the needs and desires of our business community, sharing these needs with the City council, City Manager and City Planner as they work together to outline a growth strategy for our city
  • • Exercise our voice, outlining our suggested desire for how the future business growth strategy should look.
  • • Using our connections and influence to help promote and attract the right mix of new businesses, helping them with their questions as they consider moving to our city.

Why Become a Member?

  • • Inclusion in the many citywide events that take place throughout the year. Publicizing your business and helping our business community take advantage of the opportunities these events offer.
  • • Representation in the upcoming internet website that will be business sensitive. Having information, data and links to other sites that would be pertinent to those looking to do business in our city.
  • • Becoming part of a collective voice for our city council to listen to. There will come a time when decisions are going to be before the council and we are going to be able to stand before them and say, ÒWe represent 75 businesses in Mountlake Terrace and we believe you should consider this.Ó This type of representation in our city's future planning and development is worth the price and time commitment in joining.
